How Pigier Dijon built a recruitment channel viewed more than 79,000 times in three months

Putting a brand-new campus on the map against schools already established: the challenge was daunting. Pigier Dijon’s answer seems like plain common sense: open its premises to online visits. The result: more than 79,000 views and 25 enquiries in three months.

Context

A work-study school newly established in Dijon

Pigier Dijon positions itself as the ‘work-study business school’. From BTS to MBA, the campus trains students for careers in business and management, human resources and administration, communication and digital marketing, and accounting, management and finance. An approved apprenticeship training centre (CFA), it focuses on hands-on experience. It makes sense, then, for a school that promises the real thing to show its premises.

The campus on avenue Jean Bertin is recent. And that is exactly where the difficulty lay. However well designed, a new campus does not enjoy the reputation of schools established for years. It had to find its place in the course choices of school leavers and their parents.

Standing out against schools already established

Pigier Dijon had no shortage of recognised courses or premises to match. Its difficulty lay elsewhere. It had to become visible and memorable to school leavers who compare schools on their phones.

  • Limited visibility that did not stand out: photos and course descriptions did not show the real experience on site.
  • Communication limited to set moments: open days, brochures and posts, confined to specific times of year.

Yet choosing a school happens online, on a phone, at any time. Without an immersive shop window, Pigier Dijon remained less memorable than the schools already established.

The solution

The campus becomes the argument for choosing the school

It all began with listening: the audience (school leavers, students, parents), the recruitment goals and the spaces that best tell the story of campus life. Canteen, classrooms, car park, student life: everyday places were captured, then organised into a route, from the car park to reception and on to the classrooms. A detail that matters: the application form can be downloaded directly from the tour, right from the campus reception.

Results

A recruitment channel that converts in three months

The figures cover the first three months online, from 20 January to 18 April 2025. Worth noting: one visit in ten arrives through a direct link, shared between students, parents and friends, or passed on by the school itself. The tour travels to where decisions are made.

Conclusion

The school no longer waits for its open days

Looking back at the two initial causes, the outcome seems clear. Limited visibility has given way to more than 79,000 views in three months. The real experience of the campus, which photos and course descriptions failed to convey, can now be explored room by room. And communication limited to set moments has gained a shop window open all year round, leading straight to the application form, the most viewed information point in the tour. Up against schools already established, the new campus has found its place in the course choices of Dijon’s students.
