Context
An all-you-can-eat buffet that became a place to be in Seine-et-Marne
Founded in 2011 by Amélie Zhou, Au bout du monde is a well-known restaurant in Mareuil-lès-Meaux, 20 km from Disneyland Paris and 50 km from the French capital. The concept: an all-you-can-eat buffet in a 1,000 m² space that seats up to 600 diners, with dishes from all over the world and a drive-through service for local customers and people passing through. A rare scale for a restaurant.
It is also a place people come to for the experience, with themed evenings and karaoke nights setting the rhythm of its calendar and keeping customers who come as much for the atmosphere as for the food. The challenge was to show all this beyond the circle of regulars. An exciting one.
Regulars were no longer enough to fill the dining room
The restaurant had no shortage of capacity or selling points. But its regular and local customers were no longer filling the dining room, especially in the quiet season. There were two reasons for this.
- A lack of differentiation: in a sea of standard photos, nothing online showed what sets a 1,000 m² buffet apart.
- A reliance on word of mouth: without a strong digital presence, tourists, business customers and people passing through were slipping away.
To keep growing, it had to reach customers who did not know it yet, right up to the road to Disneyland Paris.
The solution
A tour that shows the sheer size of the venue before anyone books
The project began with a listening phase: target customers, average spend, booking goals, spaces to showcase and the tone to adopt. The main dining room, the all-you-can-eat buffets, the open kitchen and the terrace were then captured in 360°. The route follows the logic of a real meal, from entering the dining room to the terrace. The tour was delivered with advice on where to share it: website, social media, flyers, Google Business Profile and email signature.

Conclusion
The restaurant no longer depends on its regulars alone
This buffet no longer lives off its regulars alone. The 1,000 m² buffet finally stands out online: people can take in the dining room, the buffets and the open kitchen before they come. And word of mouth is no longer the only driver: 37,000 views came from Google Street View, where people look for somewhere to eat in the area. 76 booking intentions in two months: showing the venue already makes people want to sit down at its tables.
